Biography
Shiva are a young Indie band from South East London, formed in 2007. The lineup which has remained unchanged to this day consists of Franklin Dawson on Vocals and Guitar, Alex Saleh on Bass, Audrey McIlwain on Drums, Milly Dawson on Vocals and Henry Nicholson on Guitar.
They have released 3 EPs, "Shiva" 2008, "Shiva II" 2009 and "Waiting" 2010.
"Waiting" was recorded at Chris Blackwell's Compass Point studios in The Bahamas and produced by Terry Manning.
The band's first 2 singles "Waiting" and "Far Away" were also released in 2010.
Recent performances include Underage Festival and Camden Crawl, and in August 2010 the single "Far Away" was named as a finalist at the prestigious Make It Break It Awards 2010 at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
