Biography
Lerone O. James, (born May 9, 2006), known professionally as rexv2), is an American recording artist and record producer from Houston, Texas. He has resided in Wichita Falls, Texas and Burkburnett, Texas and currently lives in Haslet, Texas. Rexv2 started to make a name for himself in the underground rap scene in early to mid-2024 as his breakout singles “Bass,” “Blasian,” and “Glove Gang” received acclaim and circulation as fan favorites. He is known for his sound (a fusion of underground, jugg, and trap, experimental, unique, sounds) and his distinctive style and production with a cinematic vibe. His debut studio album Aberration released on May 9, 2025.
Rexv2 commenced independent music releases in 2021 via SoundCloud and found himself on the verge of underground, He created by his brother versionslattown company called AB Music LLC—with “AB” for Aberration, one of his trademark stylings and aesthetics.
