Biography
MYHERO – 4 young musicians with the most different band experiences dabble in creating their own sound. What comes out? … a meltin pot of alternative rock charged with emotions, 3 voices, 2 guitars, one bass, drums and a hell lotta ease. They make the splits between fuzz-toned guitar walls and coltish, melodic ear candy. Garnished with lyrics that mirror that what moves these 4 guys they serve all that on the dirty floors of smaller clubs as well as on the polished stages of bigger music events.
2005 was a very eventful year for the alternative rockers from Saarlouis (Germany). After the production of their debut full length album »insert coin!« the band had to cope with the exit of 2 members (bass and drums). In lieu of resigning Antonino and Peter have reported back with two new faces, Daniel and Cornelius, with an impressive concert as the support band for the woodstock legends Ten Years After.
Further heights in 2005:
• Appearing on the german tv station NBC GIGA
• Contribution of their song „Welcome Tragedy“ to the "Rocco Del Schlacko"–sampler (containing also songs of Moneybrother, Koufax, Slut, Wir Sind Helden…)
• Constant presence in online charts like mp3.de-alternative-charts or Eastpak-Resistance-charts
This year the guys are working on their next record and keep doing shows, for example on the Rocco del Schlacko festival sharing the stage with bands such as Sugarplum Fairy, Alexisonfire, Blackmail, the Robocop Kraus, Randy, Fettes Brot, Kettcar and Tomte
