"Geek!" is the debut EP from Dublin band My Bloody Valentine. It was their first record to be recorded in London, after their debut mini-album, "This is Your Bloody Valentine" was recorded in Berlin. Shortly after relocating, the band's keyboardist at the time, Tina Durkin, soon left the band after losing confidence in her keyboarding skills, and the band replaced her with mainstay bassist, Debbie Googe. After being noticed by Fever Records at a practise session, they label offered to record an EP with the band, provided they financed the recording of it. The end result was the "Geek!" EP. The EP was a development from the sound of their first record, beginning to experiment more with guitar tones, taking influence from the Jesus and Mary Chain. After the release of the EP, the band soon joined the London gig circuit.
