Marshall Ma, known professionally as Muashall, discovered his musical calling through a pivotal moment during his time at the University of Southern California. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to a Chinese-American family, Muashall's journey began with a sound design project that unintentionally highlighted his innate musical talent. Despite facing initial skepticism from his instructor, Muashall's unique approach to sound design paved the way for his future in music.Upon graduating from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Muashall honed his musical identity under the mentorship of a distinguished concert pianist and Hollywood composer.
