"popular wisdom tells us that you never forget a familiar face. what they don’t tell you is that you also never forget a unique name. emzy collins has one of those names. while inheriting the familial name was something that he had no choice in, the impact that he makes with the name is completely in his domain. from the very beginning of his life, music was waiting for him. whether he was sitting down at the piano or picking up a guitar, he learned the workings of music through self-instruction. as time passed, many other bands helped mold the direction that his music would take, while still maintaining a style of his own. now, at the age of 24, the detroit-based emzy collins is ready to become a name you won’t forget."
