About DJ ODER
Drum & Bass DJ and Producer from Porto, Oder started playing out around 99/2000. He begun his Musical journey as a Hip Hop DJ and Producer participating in various projects, albums and live shows from the north to the south of Portugal, where he played in major Events and Clubs between 1999 till 2004.
Besides Hip Hop, the Drum'n'Bass was gaining ground when in 2001 under the pretext of mixing Hip Hop with DNB he creates alongside DJ Ruído, the collective "Hipdrumbeat". The production and passion for the 180 bpm's music took him in one way, the Drum & Bass.
With influences ranging from Hip Hop, Dub / Reggae / Ragga to Funk, he's DJ Sets are characterized by playing the latest sounds in today's Drum & Bass, spinning Jump up to Tech always with a dancefloor vision and always adding fresh dubplates and his own Productions in vinyl that are beeing supported by artists such as; Majistrate, Roughcut, Dj Callide, Nuno Forte, among others.
With a broad curriculum of Events with National and International DJ's, he has marked presence in line ups alongside names such as: Ltj Bukem & Mc Conrad, DJ First Rate, XRS, Blackalicious, Marcelinho Da Lua, Potential Bad Boy, Clipz, Benny Page, Taxman, Xample, Chase & Status, G.Dub, Prolix, Erb'n'Dub, Future Bound, J Magik, Majistrate & DJ Nicol, Infiltrata, Lynx, Heist, Jaydan and others, and in places like the Hard Club, Industria, Porto Rio, Rocks, Mau Mau, among others.
Currently, in addition to DJ'ing and making Music, he is one of the responsibles for the birth, development and management of Zona 6, the pioneering Company in Portugal offering Vinyl Cutting/Dubplates, and specialized in vinyl records of Drum & Bass, Reggae, Funk, Hip Hop, DJ Tools among other styles and activities related to Music.
He's also in this moment preparing the launch of his own imprint with the aim of taking the national production of Drum & Bass across borders, and he already has some top remixes lined up!
