Biography
Pizo Meyer (Phoenelai & Atom Ascii) was born 1969, Houston, TX. His recording career really began in 2001 when he was first noticed by the German label Retinascan for his experimental sounds. He released several CD's with the label and various net labels such as 2063music. He remixed artists such as Siemers & Theirry Massard and was remixed by Forceps, Bad Comfort, Spezialagent and Instruction Shuttle.
In 2008 his “Atom Ascii” project was created which is his more structured Electro/Techno side of electronic music. He started DJ'ing raves in 1994; during those times he was influenced from artist like Air Liquide, Underground Resistance and labels like Red Planet and Plus 8 Records.
For the first EP he teamed up with Dr. Walker (Air Liquide, DjUngleFever) for a release out on Walker's "Hotel Lotte". P.Meyer continues to produce under the Atom Ascii moniker and has since retired "Phoenelai."
