Zomotta is a band from Breda, the Netherlands. Zomotta is known for his energetic transhpop. Bart Jan
Antens is the songwriter/leadsinger of the band. The other band members are Mark van Overveld (guitar), Jacqueline van Haren (bass) and Christian Kuijstermans (drums).
Zomotta released their debute in 2001, called 'Wandertrieb'. The local press compared the sound of Zomotta with The Strokes and Velvet Underground. In 2005 Zomotta released their second album, 'Call 4 Glory' in co-orperation with distributor De Konkurrent (Belgium).
The band already performed live with Danko Jones, Magnopop and The Lost Sounds from the United States. Also, the band performed in Mezz (Breda) and Paradiso (Amsterdam).
