Biography
Zhongyu (simplified Chinese 终于, in English "Finally") is a Seattle-based musical project begun in 2010 focused on instrumental music fusing rock, jazz, and influences from around the world, particularly East Asia. Influences include King Crimson, 冷酷仙境, Miles Davis (electric period), George Russell, 沼泽, and Moraine. The group's debut album, "Zhongyu" Is Chinese for "Finally" was released by Moonjune Records in 2016.
