Indie-Rock-Electro-IndustializedFunque-Hybridized Musica from Hollywood-based producer/ composer/ multi-instrumentalist, Shok (Thrill Kill Kult, Mount Sims, Red Light District).
References range from Dark Alternative similar to The Cure or Love And Rockets (Shok worked with Daniel Ash on music for Keen Eddie, the US sitcom based in the UK from Paramount Studios) to Electronic Dance. Shok has remixed artist as varied as Isaac Hayes and Burt Bacharach to Fun Lovin Criminals, Fischerspooner to Lady Gaga, Haujobb, Dirty Sanchez, Juno Reactor and Mirah.
Currently working with Tech Itch (Mark Caro), Red Light District and David J.. 2008-9 saw his production work with Josie Cotton, Lady Gaga, Johnette Napolitano, Traci Lords, Zombie Girl and more.
Shok is also known for his cartoons and work on Newgrounds.com
Rumoured to be Terrence Trent D' Reznor and Sisters Of Mixing, who is credited for sparking the Mash Up movement with Soulwax / Too Many DJs, with the 1999 mix of "Humpty In It", which combined Digital Underground's "The Humpty Dance", Nine Inch Nails' "Down In It", The Beastie Boys' "Shake Your Rump" and Human Resource's "Dominator".
