River Road

“River Road” is the eleventh and final track on Zayn’s third studio album, "Nobody Is Listening". The track describes a sadness after being let down in a relationship and hoping for more. He also questions where his life will take him, while hoping for a better future and leaning on his significant other in those moments of despair.

On a March 2021 interview with The Zach Sang Show, Zayn revealed that he originally wrote “River Road” as a poem that he later turned to a song.
