Biography
1982, Xuilla was born in Portland, Oregon. And there he lived until the age of 15, he moved with his mother and younger brother to Junction City, Eugene, and finally Springfield.
Xuilla began his music career at the age of 18 in Eugene, Oregon in the year 2000 with a simple music generator program a friend of his had lent him to use, and began with the creation of his first 3 LP's titled "Brandish Mixes", "The Limping God", and "The Destroyer of Time". Which were all finalized during early 2001.
Each of those first 3 albums were 'practice' albums. Being fueled by numerous amounts of self-loathing, mild depression, drugs, and alcohol.
Xuilla's first full-length album would not appear until mid-2002 after much turmoil with family had caused him to move to the rural suburbs of Denver, Colorado with other members of family.
"The Serotonin Level" (2002) was produced & finalized mid-2002 with a newfound respect for life, and reality around it. Xuilla began to exhume his body of all toxins as prescribed by family members, and reshape his own soul. Xuilla was allowed to work more often on the music he loved.
"The Burn" (2003) was produced & finalized mid-2003 after realizing he had much more to live for than to just party non-stop. Xuilla's stronger grasp on life shows in this album. And has a great feel on what he wanted to begin doing. There was a definite change in the differences between this album, and the previous one.
"Unknown Terrified Territory" (2004) was produced & finalized mid-2004, and was to be a remix & remake album of current and older songs that did not previously make it onto other albums. This album features remixes of "The Old Me Died".
"VIRUS" (2005) was produced & finalized late-2004 through late-2005, and was meant to take up a darker feeling of the electronic side Xuilla's life. He compared his actions and things around him to how the logical sense of electronics.
