Biography
From the age of 8 to 18, was living in California (Hollywood),
his father being a music producer for people like Stevie Wonder, EarthWind&Fire, Sun…
While being there, he was struck by the emerging rap scene with artists like Shugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash,
Afrika Bambataa and movies like Beat Street, and knew from that point on , that he would be a part of it.
Back in Europe in the 90's, Willy Wizz started working for a British leisure company called
"Juliana's international Leisure Group", as an international DJ…
Back from four years of intense mixing, he then decided to live off his own music,
and signed his first major record deal in 1999 with BMG France with Mini Machine.
After confronting to the French market, he realized the weaknesses of a major record deal, and decided to go Indie in 2001…
Ever-since, he's been focusing on finding new platforms, and strategies to get his music to be heard.
