    2003 – present (21 years)

Wiidakko is an energetic Finnish alternative rock group formed in the beginning of 2003 in Lahti, although the origins of the five-piece go back to the end of the glorious 90's. Their strength is in combining distinctive Finnish vocals with versatile rhythms and intense guitar harmonies.

The members of the group are Markus Kujawa (vocals), Juho Talja (guitar), Tuomo Tahtinen (guitar), Ilkka Hilden (bass) and Jyri Uurtimo (drums).

In the end of the year 2005 Wiidakko were signed to a Finnish Helsinki-based label, Perfection Records, who subsequently concerted a joint venture agreement on the group with Parlophone. The debut album "Uusi jarjestys" was released as a co-release of the both labels in April 2006, following the successful first single 980 Ongelmaa.

The follow-up album "Asiat joita et voi koskaan saavuttaa" was released on the 23rd of January 2008 and was preceded by the single Niin. The second single release from the sophomore album was called Jokainen hyvästi on liikaa.
