I'd say that WMF is pretty much dead and buried, with the members spread all over Finland nowadays. I'm trying to get Worn uploaded here, but I'm still waiting for the label's permission for it. I guess I could upload Blood Red Colours promo album meanwhile, although the sound is quite different from Worn with Jyrki singing and all...

Hi and thanks to everyone for their interest in the band. A few words about Watch Me Fall's history: The band was formed in 1996 with a completely different line-up, basically only Ville Vänni of the "current" members being in the group who made the first demo in 1997. I joined the band in 1998, some time after Varpu had taken the keyboardist position. Late 1998 we made a promo album called "Blood Red Colours", with Jyrki Riekki as the singer. The promo got us a deal with KTOK Records, but to get a proper album done, we decided to change the drummer and vocalist to better match the style we wanted. Meeting Niilo was a coincidence really; he had conveniently come to our home town to study, and was quickly found as the vocalist we wanted for the album. So WMF was not a sideproject for Insomnium. Ville is a very talented guitarist and Insomnium was missing one, just as we were missing a suitable singer. Full WMF bio can be found with a quick trip to Google. -Ilari/WMF

I find it interesting how Watch Me Fall and Insomnium have the same vocalist, play similar music and yet Insomnium are ridiculously far down in Watch me Fall's similar artists....:S
