Fascinated by music since the age of 8, DJ Wanda studied bass-guitar and classical singing.
In the year 2000 DJ Wanda managed to put into shape her original ideas becoming the first female DJ in Romania.
The talent confirmation as a DJ is given by the important names that DJ Wanda worked with: Deep Dish, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Lee Burridge, Chris Gayner, Hybrid, Danny Howells and so on.
As a music producer, DJ Wanda worked along with Parks's and Wilson, Leama & Moore, Chris Tarrentella-Bourne (Rip Records), Onirika (Disco Piu) and so on.
The year 2009 finds DJ Wanda facing a new challenge: the first album as a singer. The sound of the album is synth-pop with strong influences of British electro-pop/dance.
Besides the clothing style, the urban image of the artist (Dorothy glam rock) is given by the subliminal messages in the lyrics, messages that are sustained by a strong voice.
