Volker Lechtenbrink (b. August 18, 1944 in Cranz, Germany– now Zelenogradsk, Russia) is a German actor and singer-songwriter. One of his best known roles is as Klaus Hager in the internally acclaimed anti-war film Die Brücke (English: The Bridge), released in 1959. He has had a prolific musical career, particularly though the years 1976–1989, creating German pop/schlager songs.
