These are the times of shallow poprock.
These are the times of designed glam punk boys
with shiny hair and endorsed leather-jackets.
These are the times not everybody feels great to live in.
Thats exactly what Thomas, Matthias, Jens and Andreas recognized
when they came together to start the band Underpaid.
Their music is emotional and full of energy, well produced,
but absolutely authenthic in the core.
Stylistically, Underpaid come from Grunge, but they go further
and developed their very own style that marks out clearly in points
of speed and vocal variations.
The Label Code Red Records recogized this in 2005 and released the boys first full length album Just For One Day in Germany. First Sucess came fast: Underpaid got Radio airplay with their song Tell Us and their record had great reviews in the biggest german music mags.

You bet! My goodness! I can only admire how grown-up and well-engineered the songs of these four guys sound. In addition to that, its a real good production that makes Just For One Day an outright felicitous record. I wouldnt be suprised to find the band playing the real big festivals soon. Definitely a band to keep in mind.
