There is more than one artist with this name:

1) A band before their time, Uncle Bill played funk infused post-hardcore metal before it was really a genre. Through politically charged songs, such as 'One Man', 'Christmas Eve for Liars' and 'Masque of the Red Tape', the band voiced the concerns now commonly heard in music today: dishonesty and deceit amongst the ruling elite; disillusionment and disenfranchisement of the rest. Uncle Bill also had a lighter side, however, often ending shows with a riotous cover of Right Said Fred's 'Deeply Dippy' (including the brass solo!).

Through relentless touring, they enjoyed a modicum of success in their homeland of England just before Brit-pop hit big in the 90s. Frustrated by almost overnight loss of venues in which to ply their trade, Uncle Bill split in 1996.

2) Uncle Bill is a four piece Australian Country band. I don't know anything about them, but they look like a nice bunch of guys.

3) Uncle Bill are an American avante-gard doom metal band. They have released one album for free download, which can be found at http://rapidshare.com/files/225705294/UNCLE_BILL_lp.zip.html.
