Biography
Born in Australia, raised in South Auckland, Fijian blooded, at 15 he was already writing and producing his own music. By 17 he had released his first professionally recorded song “South Auckland Anthem” which was co-produced by Chong Nee. This song became somewhat of an underground classic, forging an early impression in his career. Four solo mix-tapes, numerous guest appearances, national tours and six years on – Reality Cheque is testament to his ability of creating and executing tracks that are simply gravy for the ears.
Recorded at Beedub Studios and mastered by Agnus McNaughton, Reality Cheque features collaborations with Monsta Ganjah, Pieter T, Young Sid, Red Eye Society, Temple Jones, Flows and Ethical. Production came in the way of a fine blend between in-house producer Exile, southern influenced bangers from Yorel, and the classic boom bap styling of U.S producer Jig Dagod.
