Biography
Grown up in a time when professional music producing became affordable for everybody, Axel Sandig started playing around with PC-based software music sequencers in 1996. He discovered his passion for electronic music and synthetic generated sounds. After two years of keyboard lessons his composings became more sophisticated and due to growing PC technologies there was no need of buying expensive analog equipment. With a simple MIDI keyboard and a couple of software synthesizers, Axel produced his first maxi single under his artist name "Tunex".
Dissapointed by the development of the commercial electronic music and club scene with it's cheesy cobbled together productions and too many bad covers, Axel started to enjoy the beauty of more hand made music. Since realising that "real" instruments and synthetic sounds can harmoniously complement one another, Tunex seems to be on a mission to bring these two worlds together.
