Biography
Hailing from Texas, Tu Quasar started as a side project by Ray Martinez in 2005 under the moniker De Novo. Since, the group expanded to include Manny Gomez on Drums and percussion.
The music combines simple melodies with complex rhythms, and programmed sequences with live instrumentation. Their sound would best be described as electro-acoustic, IDM, and ambient.
