Tronic nacio en el 2002. …eramos 4 amigos que ensayabamos y tocabamos en distintos lugares underground de Santiago. Despues de 6 meses decidimos comenzar a grabar nuestro primer disco. Grabamos 15 canciones, pero extrañamente un virus (poronga.dll), nos borró el disco duro y se perdieron los temas. Todos quedamos tiritando y dos de los cuatro amigos se fueron (uno por estudios y el otro se aplicÛ el matrimonio). Solo quedamos Rigo y Chavin y decidimos dejar el proyecto standby.
