Troissoeur is a four-headed Belgian group of musicians who tend to be a modern time folkgroup. Their sound, which accompanies violin, double bass, accordion guitar and polyphonic vocals,is rather orientated on traditional North European folk. All songs and lyrics (either in fantasy language or just Dutch backwards) are written by Troissoeur.
Until 2006, Troisseur released three studio albums: Trah Njim (2000), Levina (2003) and 3S (2004). More recently, Troissoeur has been involved in many music projects.

By 2007, Troissoeur disbanded and formed the new group Tribe, whose members are more or less the same as Troissoeur consisted of.

Troissoeur consisted of the following members: Edwin Vanvinckenroye (violin, vocals), Rein Vanvinckenroye (accordion, vocals, piano), Joris Vanvinckenroye (double bass, vocals) and Pieter Thys (guitars). Troissoeurs' live shows also included video art.
