Biography
1) Tripper consists of four creative guests who understand each other well musically. The music is very varied and their 1st CD “Drive” is a combination of rock, punk, R&B and hip hop.
Philip van Domburgh is the singer and therefore also the face of the band. He has the perfect voice for the different music genres that Tripper likes to play; sometimes hard and mournful, sometimes with a lot of feeling, but always flawless. He also plays 2nd guitar on many songs. Together with Oscar he founded the band Tripper.
Oscar Samuels Brusse is the guitarist of the band. He has his own unique playing style; fast, tight and always surprisingly melodic. He gives each song its own sound and is the core of the band when creating new songs. He also sings 2nd voice on many songs.
Bas den Uyl is Tripper's drummer and therefore the most important man during live performances. He sets the pace and indicates everything perfectly. Furthermore, he masters his instrument down to the last detail. He has been playing drums since he was 6 and is involved with music in many different ways. You can hear this versatility in Tripper's songs.
Reinier Westrate is the bassist of the band. He has elevated jamming to an art and loves creating new material for Tripper in the practice room through improvisation. He also uses his creativity to give each song a unique bass part.
But Tripper is more than these four musicians. There are several guests who are more or less involved with the band. For example, Frits van der Velden provides the rap on various songs that Tripper plays. He is also often involved in writing lyrics and the other band members consider him a full member of the band. But his brother Jan also often raps along and there will be more guests with whom Tripper will collaborate in the future.
