Jay Crockett, also known by his stage name, Trew, is a hip-hop artist, actor and model based in Prince George, Virginia.
Over the span of a decade he has released music with producer Ski Beatz, DR Period, Nottz and many more acclaimed producers. It is difficult to define Trew’s genre, as he finds inspiration from diverse influences and life events, creating music that defies categorization. He has previously toured with rock band Kid is Qual, as well as opening for bands such as Jacks Mannequin, De La Soul, The Audition, Schooly D and more.
Trew is immersed in a diverse variety of projects, showcasing his eclectic skills in the entertainment industry as an excellent overall performer. He has placed several songs in tv shows and movies. Trew has also been a featured actor and model in many tv shows and ads around the world
Trew also has projects called ‘Fly Never Dies & The Incredible Fantastic,, creative collaboration with DJ Melanie, Eric Haywood and DC Soul Plus Mind
Trew, along with business partner D Smith, are CEOs of their own production company, Clocked Out Records.
