2007-2011
TO ED GEIN was six dudes from Olbia (Italy) who played fast and powerful hardcore mixed with punk rock and some NyHc influences. The band was born at the end of 2007. In mid 2008 they released their first demo called "Bless" and started to promote it playing with the most famous Italian hardcore bands. In October 2008 Hammer of Sardinia Records and Brother & Brother Records released their first self tilted full length album. 1000 Copies sold out between Europe and Usa. This album was also re-pressed in limited edition by Blodcloth Records (Europe) and Stand not Surrend Records (USA). In November 2009 the band had an European tour of 15 shows. In these 3 years TO ED GEIN played with bands such as Sick Of It All, Madball, Terror, Hatebreed, Sepultura, No Turning Back, Strung Out, Adolescents, Cripple Bastards, Ignite, Queens Of The Stone Age, Sex Pistols and much more. They're considered one of the best Italian hardcore bands of last 3 years. In December 2010 the band recorded their last album " Shell Shock" @ Hell Smell Studio in Rome (To Kill / Jet Market). The album was released in mid-May 2011 in Cd version via Rudeness records, Brother & Brother, and Scarred for life. In September 2011 Strikedown Records will release a LTD 12" Vinyl version of "Shell Shock".
