Biography

These Kings (formerly known as Lakota Elk) are an English band from Wednesbury, West Midlands. Influenced by a variety of musicians and genres before them, the band's style incorporates elements of and with some .

"Home", the first single from the band's debut EP "Smile.Wave.Repeat." is available as a free download from their BandCamp page, along with the b-side "There's A Light In That Pile of Snow". The single was given a positive review in a January 2013 edition of NME magazine, being branded "one of 2012's most promising debuts". The band released a new single titled "Open Arms" in May 2013.

In a short yet promising career, These Kings have so far played sets supporting the likes of Cloud Control, JAWS and NudyBronque.
