The Union Line formed in early 2008 in San Juan Capistrano, CA. They played their first show in February 2008 at The Gypsy Lounge. The boys recorded their first self-titled EP, which was released the following summer. They embarked on a DIY west coast tour with friends Local Natives, playing sold out shows at The Mint and House Of Blues of Anaheim. Shortly after did another DIY U.S tour in January 2009 with friends Voxhual Broadcast and Local Natives.
After a few successful tours, a self-released EP, and a split Vinyl under their belts, The Union Line got right back to performing and embarked on tour across the U.S. in the fall of 2010 with Local Natives. The Union Line has spent 2011 working on new material, and plans to tour. Daily Music Guide says the band has “enough talent, originality and enigma to endure and evolve. Right now, California is gleaming.”
