Biography
As the name suggests, The Tony Crackburn Orchestra was an offshoot project spearheaded by Mr Tony Crackburn in collaboration with his long suffering wife, Mrs Crackburn. You'd be forgiven for thinking this was just to keep the poor woman happy, but she did actually contribute creatively and technically. At the same time, Mr and Mrs Crackburn became involved with the legendary podcast, Saturday Night With The Who Boys, serving their podcasting apprenticeship with a complete bunch of…really good blokes.
Between them, Tony and Mrs C continued to churn out mash ups which had a new and refined sound but which became bigger, harder, fatter and faster until they just couldn't keep up with themselves any longer. Both Mr and Mrs Crackburn would highly recommend that other married couples work together in this way. As Tony always says, "it's got to be better than couples counselling"!
