The Shapers is a French punk rock band consisting of vocalist and guitarist Anthony, bass guitarist Nicolas, and drummer Remi. These 3 friends enjoy music, skateboarding, and summer time. They share a passion for extreme sports, so outside of rehearsals they can often be found at the skate park, or occasionally riding the waves . Since forming in 2008, they have performed many concerts together. The main influences of the band are The Ramones, Green Day, Blink-182, NOFX, SUM 41 as well as many other punk rock bands. Their song Like a Panda appears on a compilation distributed in California (Punk Kills Vol 13) and they have just released their first music video, for their song Summer Date. They are now recording their first album, which should be finished by the end of July. The Shapers are going to tour Asia this summer to promote their album, bringing high energy shows to the beautiful countries of China and Indonesia. A film director will travel along with them to make a documentary about the life of a European band touring in Asia and local punk rock scene. Keep on riding to shape a better world!
