The Seventh Ring of Saturn play Rembetika rock, overdriven psych-pop, psychedelic blues-wailing and more. After a releasing a self-titled LP and CD in 2007, TSROS spent the next few years touring the East Coast and recording tracks for the venerable U.K. label Fruits de Mer Records. They've contributed new re-interpretations of psychedelic tracks by The Beatles, The Hollies and The Pretty Things for the label's vinyl-only tributes, appearing alongside artists like The Bevis Frond and The Pretty Things themselves. Their tracks have been played on the BBC by Stuart Maconie, Gideon Coe and Mark Radcliffe, as well as on Lord Litter's Music Box International, Pull the Plug on Resonance FM (London) and many other fantastic shows. The band is getting ready to release their long-overdue second record in March of 2014 and they will be on tour in April. Guitarist Jacob Brown and bassist/singer Ted Selke are now joined by virtuoso powerhouse drummer Ben Martin in their most exciting lineup yet!
