Biography
The Reprieve is an up and coming Orlando based band, with four talented members, original compositions and lyrics, and a piano driven sound that sets them apart from all the rest of the bland guitar bands out there.
The Reprieve sound can best be described as Pop-Punk-Rock-Funk, and is comprised of catchy hooks, insane solos, and powerful lyrics that together evoke a diverse pallet of emotions from anyone who listens to them.
Evan Rundle, the lead singer/ pianist/ front man, has been playing piano since the age of four, and his influences include classical, blues, and rock. He has written and composed all of the original lyrics and music for The Reprieve, and with help from his loyal band members, he has created a style and sound that is unparalleled in the current music market.
On lead guitar is Tom “Pie Phi” Swanson who’s guitar riffs and improvisations can only be described as incendiary. Leading the rhythm section with rich and driving bass is Alex Abbott, who not only helped write a few of the band’s songs, but was also the main mixer, engineer, and producer behind the band’s demo. Last, but certainly not least, is the ever consistent, ever compelling drummer Justin Moore who has been called a human metronome and one of the nation’s premier “in-the-pocket” drummers. Together they form The Reprieve, one of the most talented, unique, eclectic, and inspiring artistic groups of the last 100 years, who’s music will be sure to inspire people of all walks of life for generations to come!
