"Killer" is the third single from The Ready Set's third extended play, Feel Good Now. The song was released September 27, 2011 as the official third single from the extended play. It was written and produced by Jordan Witzigreuter (The Ready Set) and Ian Kirkpatrick and is a pop-punk song with influences from electro-pop and swing.
In an interview, the singer describes the song, "killer is about knowing you are not the type of person somebody should be in a relationship with, and sort of warning them to stay away. I’m not sure if i was writing about myself or not, honestly."
