Originally planned as a full-length album incorporating re-recorded versions of earlier songs, the All-Stars scrapped this idea for the sake of time. It was recorded in the first half of 2007 and released in June.

The full title of the album is "The Part-Time All-Stars were planning on recording a full-length CD but, due to time constraints and a lack of initiative to re-record old songs, decided to put out an EP instead. So rather than 10-12 tracks, this CD has 4-7 songs, like their previous releases. No one has complained about this arrangement yet, so The Part-Time All-Stars see no problem in making another mini-album, rather than a Full Length."

With Robert Claiborne's departure the previous fall, trumpet parts had been largely phased out of the group's songwriting. This CD features only one song (Superfraud) with trumpet, supplied by Julian Evans.
