The One Way Street came from the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas in the mid-60s, a heady place to be what with groups like the Kavaliers, the Souls, the Foamy Brine, and the Headstones running around the locale.
Though best known for the INCREDIBLE "Joy And Sorrow" from their last 45, every song the group released was good if not great. I'm as big of a fan of their moody, slow numbers as I am their punkers. Perhaps more so. As such here's everything they ever released from the three 45s… "Joy And Sorrow" is probably one of the few singles deserving of the often misused Acid Punk tag.
