Biography
The Murky Crows (昏鴉樂團), an independent rock band, was founded in Taipei in 2010. After several changes in members, it currently consists of six members. They call themselves "a second-rate poet, a first-rate handsome guy". In 2013, they released their first album, 《寓言式的深黑色風景》, which used realism to write a post-punk dark allegory. In 2015, they released 《一切不滅定律》, which used a more unique arrangement to depict the bizarreness of an adult fairy tale. After a three-year hiatus, they finally brought back their third album《我們目前是什麼都先不做》in 2018, telling the romantic life philosophy of middle-aged men. As their experiences become richer and their moods change, The Murky Crows' music style is constantly changing, and they are never willing to be defined by labels. Perhaps the one thing that remains consistent is their humorous recitation of the daily mess. Given their evil taste for entertaining themselves and others, it is actually not too difficult to find joy in suffering. As a diverse art group, the band's mastermind, 李中立, painted ten portraits of the male protagonists of the songs in the album《一切不滅定律》, which helped the album win the Best Packaging Design Award at the 27th Taiwan Golden Melody Awards.
