Biography

Dave Graney and Clare Moore played with the Moodists from 1978 to 1986. They then played with the White Buffaloes/Coral Snakes from 1987-1997.
“We wuz curious” is their 20th album release (including the soundtrack to the film “Bad Eggs”) .
After finishing with the Coral Snakes they played with current guitarist Stuart Perera and Adele Pickvance (now in the GoBetweens) in the Dave Graney Show and, with Billy Miiller, the Royal Dave Graney Show. Dave Graney had seen Stu playing at a jazz youth workshop at the VCA in 1998. It was his first band. He has been the single most constant player in Dave graney and Clare Moores work. From 1998 to the present album.
With Adeles departure in 2004 , Stu Thomas joined on bass. Stus background was in the Business and the Surrealists, both led by Kim Salmon. Stu also records under his own name and put out an album on Bang in 2007 called “Devil and Daughter” . Another is in the works. (Dave Graney and Clare Moore also play with Kim in the hard rock art collective that is SALMON)
Mark Fitzgibbon had played with the Moodists in their latter days and also on Dave Graneys first “solo” demo recordings in 1987. He came on board for the “Hashish and Liquor “ album in 2005. Mark plays constantly in the jazz scene with his own band and many others . He also appears with Dave Graney and Clare Moore in their narrative work, Point Blank”.
