The debut album from The Indelicates, produced by Brian O’Shaunessy (Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, Denim), was released on April 14th 2008 on Weekender Records in the UK and Europe simultaneously. It was recorded at Bark Studios in Walthamstow, London. The song ‘Julia, We Don’t Live In the ’60s’ was used in the British television show Taggart. Acompanying the album is a collection of free Bonus material that can be acquired by solving the riddle in the sleeve of the cd artwork, or alternatively looking for the answer on The Indelicates’ forum http://indelicates.com/forums
Bonus material included an alternative animation of the song ‘America’, a cover of New Art For The People by Lily Rae, Eddie Argos of Art Brut, and Keith Totp of The Art Goblins, an Album Commentary track featuring Stuart Laws and Al Clayton, and various piano versions of the song Stars by Julia Indelicate.
The album features guests including Lily Rae, Caroline Hatwell, Danni Read, Anthony and Chris Baldacci, Keith Totp, Stuart Laws, and Butch Rock Stone.
The Cover photograph was taken by Andrew Kendall at The Barons Court Theatre in London.
The string arrangements were written by Julia Indelicate and Louis J. Clark, and The Millenia Strings were the players.
