Biography
The Hofmann Chronicles are an experimental art rock setup. It was originally founded as a 3 member project in April 2011. They are known for heavily relying on sampling in their thematically molded songs to share their views on certain social hypocrisies and philosophical ideas. However the band has disclaimed this theory and have labeled themselves as "just another trippy band".
Their official fan page links the band name to Albert Hofmann and his experiences with the drug, lysergic acid diethylamide, commonly known as LSD. Hofmann had described the drug as "medicine for the soul" and the autobiographical account of his experience with LSD was published in LSD: My Problem Child (1980). Band-members refused to acknowledge if their songs were a chronology of Hofmann's experiences with the drug or if they thought their music was, in a way, medicine for the soul and later explained that its "just another trippy name".
The Hofmann Chronicles, (known by their acronym T.H.C.) have revealed that they will use a different 4th member for every song for their first album entitled 'Robo Trippin'.
