Biography
The Grand Caminos were a basement-faux-super-rock-super-group project from Hamtramck, MI.
The group consisted of 3 brothers, and composed songs about using your brain, banging on the first date, breaking up, partying, and just about any other "rock subject."
The real identity of the 3 boys from Ham-Town has been speculated by many, but no one knows for sure. Their signature sound has a over-all feeling of garbage instruments pushed to the absolute limit.
The Grand Caminos have often been quoted talking shit about rival Detroit band The Grande Nationals. Their first and only known album is called, "We're Better Than The Grande Nationals, We're The Fucking Grand Caminos!" It is rumored that the Grande Nationals had seen a basement Caminos show and have since stolen many of their trademark looks, sounds, and attitudes.
The band is currently on hiatus, or in drug treatment, or maybe dead.
