There have been at least four bands using the name The Clerks since the late 1970's. In chronological order they are: 1. English Power Pop Punk Band 2. English Classical Choral Group 3. German Ska Band 4. French Indie Band. The English Pop Punk Band broke up in the early 80's. The German Ska/Reggae/Offbeat band still continue to play and release material as does the English Choral Group.
