This is always the album I come to when I lose track of things, It reminds me of who I am, and in a sense 'what is'. I cant put it into words clearly but this is an extremely personal album for me. Something about it all connects with me on a personal level. I've listened to it a million times by now but each time I do its like a new listen, a new experience, I take something new from it. The lyrics and instruments are so vivid and clear, its polished and smooth. IN a whole this is the most brilliant album Ive listened to. Like I was saying If i ever feel disconnected from the world or lost in a transition of moods and ideas this album helps me tie them all back together and realize everything.
'80 revisited ... nostalgia ... today's one of those days I had to put Script through the boxes again ... absolutely utter brilliance that band !! .... when something slips through your fingers, you know how precious it is ...
I think nearly every critic that was writing in the 1980s considered this album a masterpiece of the highest order. "View from a Hill" is the musical equivalent of the finest of Shakespeare or Tolstoy.
