Biography

There are multiple artists named The Brat:

1) The Brat was an underground Chicano punk band from Los Angeles, CA, United States, active in the late-1970s and 1980s. Combining reggae, East L.A. grit and the bop of girl groups like Blondie and The Crystals, The Brat was hailed as one of the most important bands to emerge from the East Los Angeles underground.
Formed in 1979 - after a chance meeting between Teresa Covarrubias and Rudy Medina at The Starwood in Hollywood - The Brat fell into the mesh of punk artists and musicians straddling both sides of the East L.A./ West L.A. pop world. They made quick friends with Plugz guitarist Tito Larriva and X singer Exene Cervenka, both instrumental in the look and sound of The Brat’s debut EP, “Attitudes”.
Produced by Tito, with cover art/lettering by Exene, “Attitudes” found its 5 songs gathering healthy airplay at KROQ and other hip L.A. radio stations.

2) Roger Kitter (born 1950) is a British actor best known for playing Captain Alberto Bertorelli in season seven of the British sitcom TV series 'Allo 'Allo!. He also recorded a song "Chalk Dust - the Umpire Strikes Back" using the moniker "The Brat". Released on the Hansa label, it entered the UK Singles Chart on 10 July 1982; it reached a peak of number 19, and remained in the chart for 8 weeks. The song was a Top 10 hit in the Netherlands, Belgium and South Africa, and lampooned John McEnroe complaining about line calls in tennis.

3) The Brat was a punk rock band from Naples, Italy, active in the 1980s. Members included Fabio Innaro (guitars, vocals), Roberto Brin (vocals, bass) and Bruno Brin (drums).
