Biography
While churning out blues and rock tunes for the past three years throughout New York and New Jersey, The Blind Tellers, formerly known as Weathered Sol, have established themselves as a high-energy talent through riveting live performances. The band has continually evolved its sound by drawing on several different genres that range from folk to rock, classical to blues. The band’s most recent endeavors have given way to more of an intimate, acoustic-driven sound. This sound highlights the expansion of their musical palette without jeopardizing the raw, high-energy live performances that originally drew in audiences.
The Blind Tellers are currently writing their debut album set to be released in December of 2013. Keep an eye out for them come July when they will be gigging frequently and consistently. Until then, you can catch them at open mic nights around the Jersey Shore. Not only is this a band that demands to be heard, but SHOULD be seen!
The Blind Tellers is:
Matt Gentile; vocals
Frank Dunzello; bass
David Allen; guitar, harmonica
Devin Crosby; guitar, lapsteel
Max Fisher: Drums
