Biography
The Alljacks were a soulful mod revival band from Hornchurch, Essex, United Kingdom. They contributed tracks to a few compilations in the latter half of the 1980s, but sadly split up before releasing a record of their own. Best known tracks are, arguably, 'The Real Thing' and 'Guilt'. Personnel: Gary Devine (lead vocals, bass), Steve Jones (guitar), John Cook (guitar), Lou Perryman (Hammond organ), Paul Reece (drums), Tanya Smart, Wendy Williams and John Spurling (backing vocals), Jeff Rix (saxophone) and Andy Kelly (trumpet).
