The Academy Is… are a rock band which formed in 2003 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist William Beckett, rhythm guitarist Mike Carden, lead guitarist Jamie Reed Schefman, bassist Adam T. Siska, and drummer Andy "The Butcher" Mrotek.
