Terry Bones was born in Mons (Belgium) and he is currently living in Florida (United States). Terry began his DJ career at the age of 13 when his brother let him know about a new genre of electronic music, New Beat (the very beginning of House Music story). This was 18 years ago and Terry has had a passion for EDM ever since then. Terry started his producing career at the age of 18 after sending a demo to the only producer in his hometown. After his first release (which was a big success on some local clubs), Terry made his first Belgian hit called SpaceClub Club Disco. The track was even re-pressed on a Spanish label in the island of Ibiza. Terrys second hit, Dreaming, was featured on many compilations and was played in countries such as Germany, Holland, and the UK. Terry followed up with other great tracks such as LightStorm, Getaway, and Angels Groove.
Terry was rediscovered by Fred Baker (GrooveZone, Y-Traxx, As One.). Terry and Freds first collaboration together was Introspection…with Terry being the mastermind behind the track. Introspection is signed to Paul van Dyks record label, Vandit Records, and it has received a lot of play by some of the worlds top DJs including Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Blank & Jones. Introspection can be found on many compilations including Paul van Dyks Sessions and Armin van Buuren's A State Of Trance. Return To Innocence can be found on Blank & Jones Mix 2.
Terry is also well known for his remix of Sashas Wavy Gravy, played by top DJs Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Airwave, Jon OBir, Edgar V, Goldenscan, Above & Beyond, Cor Fijneman and many others.
Terry's most recent track, Forbidden Ways, is due to be released on May 22nd. It has already been receiving support from Blank & Jones, Tiesto, Darren Tate, John O'Bir, André Visior, Marcos, etc.
Terry was requested by Armada Music (Armin van Buuren's label) to do a remix of a classical song. A remix of Jan Vayne's Heavens Air can be found on Classical Trancelations - Armada Music.
Terry used to spin on TranceAirWaves the second Saturday of every month until TAW went off the air. Terry was asked to do the anthem for TranceAirWaves and the song When They Come was born. When They Come has been receiving play by Wicked Neo from the UK and by DJ's Edgar V and Groove Eric from Miami. It is scheduled to be released in Fall 2005. Terry has also been featured on ETS Global, ETN, and Mile High Nites with Shawn Mitiska.
In August 2005 Terry remixed Interstate's track, Remember Me. Armin van Buuren debuted the track on A State Of Trance 213 and the track was voted as Tune of the Week that week. The remix was also featured on A State Of Trance 214. His remix was voted as the most requested track on Anjunabeats Trance Around The World. The remix has been supported by Armin, Tiesto, Blank & Jones, and many others.
Terry collaborated with DJ Precision on the track Another Situation. It has received support from Blank & Jones, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond, Darude, etc. Terry also collaborated with Fred Baker under the alias Dark Alliance and has seen success with tracks Vibration and Genetic. The tracks were first played out by Tiesto in his Tiesto in Concert shows in Holland and Belgium.
Terry remixed Matt Darey's classic track, Liberation, and it was released on Matt Darey's label, Darey Products. Terry has a lot of tracks currently under production as well as some tracks that will be released later this year. Some of Terry's unreleased tracks include Eternal Unity, Fallen Angel, Friends Forever, a remix of George Hales - Spyder, a remix of Enya - May It Be, and a remix of Cry Little Sister.
