The drummer and co-founder of US progressive thrash metal band Tourniquet, known for his technical high-speed drumming. Also played in Trouble for a short period.
Kirkpatrick's solo endeavors include the instrumental stoner metal album "Ode to a Roadkill" (2010), the album "In the Shadow of the Masters" (2010), on which he plays the drums along to classical music tracks, and the EP "The Doom in Us All: A Tribute to Black Sabbath" (2016), for which he teamed up with various other artists to cover Black Sabbath songs.
He has also released a Christmas album called "Ancient Christmas" (2011), and compiled a spoken word album of collected tales and poems by American writer Edgar Allan Poe in 2012. On this album Kirkpatrick provided background ambient music and effects and various different vocalists read the poems and tales.
